I just moved to the long beach area recently. Found this barbershop that is local to me. Best haircut I've ever had without a doubt. Brandon hooked me up. By the end, I left with the freshest fade ive ever had. And the whole process start to finish is exactly how a haircut should be performed. Thanks so much. My barber of 5 years moved up to L.A. and she's awesome, but that's a little too far to go for a trim. Tried out The Lodge since it's in my neighborhood and has a great rating - trust me, the reviews don't lie! Nice shop, chill staff, and Serge is a great barber. He asked me the right questions, got my feedback as he was going, and turned out a killer cut that makes my thin hair look healthy and full. Highly recommend checking them out!

Love this place! My barber Igor is the best! If you are looking for a traditional barber experience this is the place! Everyone is super friendly. I always leave super happy with my haircut.

Came in for my appointment with Adrian to get my bangs cut , I needed help getting the pin up style super straight bangs and he did an amazing job very affordable and the vibes were immaculate, everyone was so welcoming. Call to book in advance as well , Parking does suck but it is Long Beach so it’s to be expected (: thanks guys

I love the lodge! As a trans masculine person, it's one of the only non-specifically queer barber shops that I feel comfortable in. All of the staff is friendly and they are good at what they do. The shop owner, Sergio, he's incredibly thoughtful about how he runs his shop.

Marvin is my go-to guy at this go-to place, The Lodge Barber Co. Always a cool vibe and atmosphere. You can chat it up with any of the friendly staff there if you want... or you can just chill and get a haircut without the conversation, if that's what you prefer. The price I feel is absolutely worth it. I've been going here for a couple of years now and I don't plan on leaving any time soon. 35 bucks every couple of months for a perfect cut by Marv has been no trouble at all. And the compliments on the cut after I get it are always cool too! ***Make sure to make a reservation! It's online and very simple. I've been able to do a same day reservation in the past. Walk-ins may have trouble with availability, but they do their best to get you in.***

I've been coming here for a while now and really enjoy the environment and the friendly staff. I've been to many shops where I just didn't feel like I fit in and had bro-y/toxic masculinity vibes, this ain't that! Just like the people who patronize this business, the music, and the discussions are wide ranging. I always leave this place learning something new - a new place to eat, a new movie to watch, a new TV show, a local event going on, etc. Fabi has been my go to professional and she's been welcoming since the beginning. I can be pretty particular with my hair and she's never disappointed! I've seen Marvin when I was in a pinch and he was also great. Honestly, I watch the work that everyone does here and I'd feel comfortable going with any of them if I wasn't able to book with Fabi.
